Frequently Asked Questions:

  • While it's natural to wonder about the time commitment, the Quran is not just a book; it's a lifelong guide for us. The aim with our Tafsir program is not to race through its verses, but to delve into their meanings, context, and relevance in our lives today. Every session offers an opportunity to connect with the Divine words, reflect upon them, and transform our understanding and actions. It took the Sahabah years to learn a single chapter. We believe in quality over quantity.

  • We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can lead to a missed session. To ensure that no participant falls behind and every student has access to the teachings, we record all our Tafsir sessions. If your child is unable to attend a particular session, he will be provided with a link to the recording. This way, he can catch up at his own pace, and won't miss out on any of the valuable insights or lessons. We encourage students to review the recordings and reach out with any questions or clarifications they might have during the subsequent session or directly to the instructor.

  • This is not a new course. The program commenced as a pilot project in February 2023, at which point we reached verse #78 of Surah Baqarah. We intend to resume our studies from this verse, complemented by several supplementary modules introduced for the first time.

  • Numerous Quran and Tafsir programs have been designed with a focus on girls. Consequently, this program was established to address the specific needs of young men.

  • You may terminate your subscription at any given moment, but please note that the fees for the current month are non-refundable.

  • We strongly recommend that students memorize the word to word translation offered in each lesson, review the associated tafsir, and research any questions posed by the instructor during the sessions.

  • Our mentorship program is structured to provide comprehensive guidance and support for all our students. While the program is not one-on-one, rest assured that each student will have ample opportunities for interaction, feedback, and personal growth. We maintain small group sizes to ensure individualized attention and facilitate productive discussions. Our mentors are well-trained and are committed to enhancing both the academic and personal development of every student in the group setting.

  • While our primary focus is on providing a robust tafsir and mentorship experience online, we recognize the value of extracurricular activities and community engagement. As such, we periodically introduce supplementary modules and initiatives that encourage students to apply their knowledge and skills outside of the virtual classroom. These may include group projects, community outreach opportunities, or iftars together. We believe in fostering a holistic approach that extends beyond academic learning to encompass personal development and community contribution. Note: iftars and get togethers will be limited to those in the Mississauga area.

  • Absolutely. While our program emphasizes the importance of understanding and personal growth, we have also integrated periodic evaluations and assessments into our curriculum. These are designed to gauge each student's comprehension of the material and to identify areas for further development. The feedback from these assessments helps both our mentors and students in ensuring continuous learning progress and refining the educational approach as needed.

  • Yes. Students can enrol at any time and our team will help with the onboarding process.
